Harlan Beverly the Assistant Director of the Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs (TVL) at UT Austin where he also lectures on Lean Startup. His mission at TVL is to help UT student and alumni companies get funded. TVL has helped more than 115 companies get funded for more than $380Million in total. Harlan has founded and sold two prior consumer oriented (B2C) startups: Bigfoot Networks, Inc. and Karmaback, Inc. In addition to being CEO of Bigfoot Networks (a game hardware technology company), Harlan has also been a VP of Marketing/Business Development at several video game and game technology companies (Night Owl Games, ingZ inc., Psyko Headphones) and helped raise over $24 Million in funding for these game companies. Harlan received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University and M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin as well as a Ph.D. in Business from Oklahoma State University.
