Chris Mancil has been managing player relations and gaming communities for over 16 years. He is currently Director of Community & Influencers for Electronic Arts where he is responsible for EA’s relationships with players, including YouTubers and Streamers across all platforms.
After several years with IGN’s Vault Network, Chris officially joined the videogame industry at Ubisoft in 2001 working on titles such as Shadowbane, Tom Clancy’s Rogue Spear, and Far Cry. Over the next decade, Chris worked with many of gaming’s greatest publishers like Warner Bros. Interactive, Sierra Online, THQ, and Electronic Arts –on iconic brands such as The Matrix, Warhammer 40k, WWE, Titanfall, Star Wars: Battlefront, Dragon Age, Battlefield, and Bejeweled.
Chris is also a member of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) and the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) and is a frequent past speaker at the Austin Game Conference, Game Developers Conference, and PAX. He also lives in Austin, TX with his wife, four children, two dogs, and a cat.
